HANDOYO PUJI WIDODO


Handoyo Puji Widodo is a professor at King Abdul Aziz University. His research interests include English Language curriculum and materials development, Methodology in English language pedagogy, English for Specific Purposes (ESP): English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Vocational Purposes (EVP), Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) in Language Education, and language teacher professional development. He has published books and papers on various aspects of his research interests, particularly in EFL context. Some of his books are Innovation and Creativity in ELT Methodology (Cirocki & Widodo, 2012); Moving TESOL beyond the Comfort Zone: Exploring Criticality in TESOL (Widodo, 2014); English Language Teaching Today: Linking Theory and Practice (Renandya & Widodo, 2016); Asian English Language Classrooms: Where Theory and Practice Meet (Widodo, Wood, & Gupta, 2017).

ANDY BOON


Andy Boon is a professor in the Faculty of Global Communications at Toyo Gakuen University, Tokyo. He has been teaching in Japan for more than 19 years and holds a PhD from Aston University. He has been an active member of the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) since 2004, has presented at numerous conferences, and has published articles on teacher development, motivation, and methodology.

MARCOS BENEVIDES


Marcos Benevides is an English Language Program Coordinator at J. F. Oberlin University in Tokyo, and president of Atama-ii Books. His interests include themed and meaning-based approaches to language teaching, particularly task-based language teaching and extensive reading. His major publications include Widgets: A task-based course in practical English (Pearson, 2008); Fiction in Action: Whodunit (Abax, 2010); Choose Your Own Adventure graded readers (McGraw-Hill, 2012); the Atama-ii multipath reader series (Atama-ii Books, 2014); Reading for Speed and Fluency 2nd Edition (Compass, 2018); and Widgets Inc.: A task-based course in workplace English, 2nd Edition (Atama-ii Books, 2018).

ISTA MAHARSI


Ista Maharsi is a lecturer in English Language Education Department at Universitas Islam Indonesia. Her research interests include extensive reading, reflective practices, and critical literacy.
